We are delighted to have you as our guests at our beautifully remodeled ground-floor beachfront condo at the Sonoran Sun, West 103. We hope you make the most of your stay while enjoying your vacation in this fantastic destination.
About Our Condo
Our condo is located in the Sonoran Sun W-103 a five-star resort on Sandy Beach. It offers spectacular ocean views and walk-out patio with panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez
For someone who enjoys cooking and baking, the equipped kitchen offers a Keurig coffee machine with complimentary K-Cups, a margarita blender, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and stainless appliances, an air fryer. Mixer and lender. Grills are available on the property.
When it is time to call it a night, the master bedroom has a wall-mounted 55” smart flat screen, a king-size bed with wired nightstands. The second bedroom has a 45” Smart flat-screen TV queen-sized bunk beds and a sleeper sofa in the living area for extra guests.
Living space: Queen sofa bed in the living room, a 65” flat-screen. However, don’t be surprised if you never turn the TV’s on. The views are unforgettable.
A full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room. We have included laundry products and hangers for your convenience.
Enjoy ground-level accessibility with the walk-out patio to pools, hot tubs, and beach access. Patio dining and lounge chairs to snuggle into a good book. The living space is designed to bring families back together with a plethora of games. Please be respectful and put all pieces back where they came from. Some of the games are hard to come by.
The resort has many amenities for you to enjoy, two pools, one heated, a swim-up bar and grill, two large hot tubs, a fitness center, a spa, and 24-hour security. You can also book golf, fishing, or sunset cruises at the front desk.
House Rules
We want you to feel at home in our condo, but we also ask you to respect our property and follow some simple rules:
- No Pets or smoking allowed in the condo or on the patio. A $250 fine will be charged if this rule is violated.
- No parties or loud music areallowed. Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep the noise level down after 10 pm.
- No more than 6 guests are allowed to stay in the condo. Please do not invite any additional guests without our permission.
- Please do not move or rearrange any furniture or appliances in the condo.
- Please do not take any towels, linens, dishes, or other items from the condo. You will be charged for the replacement cost if anything is missing or damaged. For your convenience, we have provided 6beach towels for your use. Please make sure you return them to the condo. A $20.00 charge will be applied for each lost beach towel.
- Please turn off all lights, fans, AC, when you leave the condo. This will help us save energy and reduce our environmental impact.
- Please lock the door and windows when you leave the condo. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- Please leave the condo clean and tidy when you check out. Dispose of any trash in the bins outside the building and wash any dishes you use. You may load the dishwasher and turn it on.
- Please leave comments in our “Welcome Book” and be sure to come back again.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 11 am. Please do not arrive earlier or leave later than these times without our prior approval
At the guard gate is where you will check in. No need to get out of your car. to check in and show your ID and confirmation number. Your keys, wristbands, parking pass, and resort map will be waiting for you at the guard gate. Please wear your wristbands at all times while on the resort premises.
Hopefully, you will be able to park right in front of the unit. No elevators. You are on the first floor. You should have received an email with your door code.
To check out, lock the door and leave. Have a safe trip back. Please tell your friends what a wonderful time you had.

You can also access free WIFI in the lobby and pool areas of the resort.
Local Attractions
Puerto Peñasco is a wonderful place to explore and have fun. Here are some of the local attractions that we recommend:
- Malecón Fish and Shrimp Market: This is the main tourist area of Puerto Peñasco, where you can find many shops, restaurants, bars, and street vendors selling fresh seafood, souvenirs, crafts, and more. You can also enjoy live music, street performers, and beautiful sea views.
- Playa Hermosa Beach: This is one of the most popular beaches in Puerto Peñasco, where you can swim, sunbathe, play volleyball, rent jet skis, kayaks, banana boats, or parasails, or take a horseback ride along the shore.
- El Pinacate Biosphere Reserve: This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that covers over 700 square miles of volcanic craters, lava flows, sand dunes, and desert wildlife. You can visit the visitor center to learn more about this unique ecosystem and take guided tours or hikes to see some of the amazing geological features. https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1410/
- CEDO Intercultural: This environmental education center promotes the conservation and research of the marine life and habitats of Puerto Peñasco. You can visit their museum, aquarium, library, and gift shop, or join their eco-tours, workshops, or volunteer programs. https://cedo.org/

Puerto Peñasco has a variety of restaurants to suit your taste and budget. Here are some of our favorites:

Activities
Puerto Peñasco has a lot of activities to keep you entertained and adventurous. Here are some of the things you can do:
Golf: You can play golf at the [Las Palomas Beach and Golf Resort], which has an 18-hole championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus. You can also book tee times at the front desk of the resort.
- Fishing: You can go fishing on a charter boat or a kayak and catch some of the local fish species such as grouper, snapper, sea bass, dorado, marlin, tuna, or sailfish. You can also book fishing trips at the front desk of our resort.
- Sunset Cruises: You can take a relaxing cruise on a catamaran or sailboat and enjoy the beautiful sea and sky views. You can also book sunset cruises at the front desk of our resort.
- ATV Rentals: You can rent an ATV or a dune buggy and explore the sand dunes, the desert trails. (ATV’s can not be driven on the main roads in town. You will get a citation

- One of the most popular things to do in Puerto Peñasco in the winter months of January through March is to go whale watching. The whales start arriving near the end of January and depart in March.
